“Vision: to inspire and support feeding and swallowing therapists throughout the life span.
Purpose: Discuss articles of interest through open conversation and questions and allow open, safe discussion. Openly discuss cases (use of HIPAA guidelines is a must, as the current platform in use is not supported) to provide support, ideas, critical thinking and treatment strategies to cases that may be difficult, different and/or unusual.
Time: One to two articles/cases to be discusses every two to three months with recommendation to provide feedback on what was learned from the article or case, discuss possible strengths or weaknesses of the study, how this may impact or not impact the practicality of clinical practice.
The use of Slack allows conversation within a group or individuals.”
